This represents the highest annual collection in the Command\u2019s history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>December 2025<\/strong>, Seme Customs recorded its <strong>highest\u2011ever single\u2011month revenue of \u20a63,628,485,590.00<\/strong>, driven by improved coordination and trade facilitation measures under the <strong>One\u2011Stop Shop (OSS) initiative<\/strong> championed by the Comptroller\u2011General of Customs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Command\u2019s Area Controller, <strong>Comptroller Wale Adenuga<\/strong>, also implemented a strategic reduction of border checkpoints along the <strong>Lagos\u2011Abidjan corridor<\/strong> to just <strong>two federal\u2011approved locations<\/strong>, significantly easing legitimate trade movement, reducing delays, and contributing to enhanced revenue outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond revenue gains, Seme Customs maintained <strong>vigilant anti\u2011smuggling operations<\/strong>, with December seizures including 685 parcels of <em>Cannabis sativa<\/em>, 495 packs of Tramadol, and 2,000 packs of high\u2011dosage Super Power Sildenafil tablets.
